• Hi there,

I’m having a problem with the bold text in the block editor (backend) while editing a post with the Google Chrome browser.

In frontend, it will be displayed correctly.

In Firefox, however, it is displayed as it should be. Please check the screenshot below with developer tools open in Google Chrome to check the code behind it.

I disabled all plugins and checked if a plugin was the cause. It wasn’t.

    Thanks and best regards

  • Hi there,

so the issue is in the Editor when using Chrome browser?
If so disable any Browser Extensions or use a private/incognito browser to eliminate them as an issue.

    Hi there,

thanks for your suggestions, but it all won’t work. Whether to deactivate all Extension, nor the incognito browser.

I will try it tomorrow on another station with a clean chrome installation and will reply.

Unfortunately i don’t have any other ideas, its not a Theme or WordPress related issue. At the most it could be is a caching problem where chrome has cached different CSS but that would be eliminated with a Private browser.
