Category tree should start from selected cat. or parent

Hi there,

please try to set your filter in logic “AND”, plugin will show only terms that match with products in list.

Ok, for me is solved enabling the multiple selection and so having the option AND or OR and using AND (with the disabled option it was not visible)…
But with multiple selection, shouldn’t I be able to select several subcategories? From the previous screenshot:

If I am in “Confezione SS23” now I see only the tree from SS23 (as I wanted), but I can’t chose any multiple subcategories? Like “Abito” and “Blusa”? If I select one of them, then the filter shows only that category.
For me is ok as I didn’t want a multiple selection! But I’m trying to understand the full features of the plugin for other uses.
Is “AND” related only to other filters (size/color)?

Hi there,

The AND relation you mentioned is only between the terms in the same filter (in this case, the categories), so if you have products in multiple categories, these categories would be displayed as available options in the filter.

About the relation with other filters, the products displayed in the page would be the ones that match all the active filters.

Yes it was clear, but in this case, AND works only for parents/childs

Because if I have:

– parent (checked)
– child1
– child2

If I click on child 1, it automatically hides child2, so the “AND” option is only to say that the product must be both in parent and child 1, not allowing to select both child1 and child 2

If the products doesn’t have child1 and child2 at the same time, it should hide child2 because no products match this filter.
