Reset password email redirect back to requesting email

Hello, our client site is having issue with password reset, everything is working correctly until they get the reset password email, the link that redirects them to reset password is not working and just looking back to the page where they are ask to enter their user/email to reset the password, instead of the page to give the new password. please note this is hosted in godaddy and the only email that are affected are gmail and yahoo as per checking. but business emails work properly. could this be a block from the system? but they are getting the email correctly just the link going back to reset. Thank you.
