Forbidden You don’t have permission to access this resource.

  • When I try to add a review to this product page I get the message

    “Forbidden

    You don’t have permission to access this resource”

    No matter with what username / account / browser, when I write a review, it’s always the same answer.

    I contacted my hosting provider and they say it’s not from their end.

    Can somebody help me?

  • Do you have a security plugin? You might try temporarily disabling that to test if it is causing it. Also make sure all your plugins and themes are up to date.

    i saw the error yesterday and all of a sudden everything was back to normal. As I tried editing pages today, the error was back. I’m not able to edit any page or post and I’m really frustrated. I’ve tried different fixes but they’re not working. I disabled the security plugin – Really simple SSL, but it’s still not working. What I noticed about is that whenever I login to WordPress, the .htaccess file auto generate a new file.

    yes, i checked it out already, I don’t know why, but it isn’t working

    The file permissions are correct, I’ve tried regenerating the htaccess file but i think it is not regenerating. I backed up the .htaccess file and then deleted it. Then I re-save the permalink setting but it is not regenerating.
