Blank blog on new installation

  • I’ve just installed WordPress for the first time on this domain, and all went according to plan (have installed WP several times in the past).

    I can access the dashboard and all the admin pages, but the blog itself is blank – can’t see posts etc, just a blank page. I’ve still got the default first post up at the moment, but I can only see this in a theme preview!

  • Best suggestion, delete it, download a fresh copy of WordPress 3.0.1 and reinstall. A blank screen typically means a php error. Finding that error won’t be easy. Take 10 minutes and reinstall it. [Link removed – this is not an advertising forum.]

    I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and have come up with the same problem.

    have installed version 3.0 and it worked fine. Tried to upgrade to 3.0.1 and the upgrade failed, so I think I will stick with the older version.
