Nothing is changing when i edit a page

  • I’m trying to edit one of my pages but when I click update after i’ve changed the page, nothing changes on my website. I tried some of the troubleshooting suggestions like deleting my cache items in my internet browser and erasing everything on the page i’m trying to edit and starting over but neither things have worked. In fact, currently there is nothing in the wordpress page editor i was trying to edit but online it is showing everything that was originally in the wordpress page editor. I don’t know what to do!! Any help would be great!

    You may need to repair the database.

    Access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel), check all of the tables, and choose “Repair tables” from the pull-down menu.

    how do i get to phpMyAdmin? I’m using 2.7.1 wordpress. should I update to the 3.0.1 version? thanks for the help!

    No, I recommend fixing this problem before upgrading. Ask your hosting provider how to access phpMyAdmin, or ask them to repair the database for you.
