When adding to cart the product qty added doubles

Good day. Since the update we have had an issue where when products with variations are added to the cart they are doubled. Example you click add to cart once and it adds a quantity of two. Tested on multiple browsers and mobile devices all with same result. We currently disabled it on our website but prior to this it has worked flawlessly for just about a year. Any help would be great.
