top social icons

  • Hi,
    The top social media section don’t show actual icons for Pinterest and reddit instead a simple link icon is shown. Check the attached screenshot for more detail.

    I am using a child theme and I have updated to latest version of the astral theme.

    Can you please tell me how to fix it?

  • Is there an icon for email with. How do you write so that in that case it will appear correctly with a letter symbol?

    Hi @thias79 ,

    Using the above theme “astral”, when you add a link to a social media platform it automatically recognizes it and assigns an icon to it.

    The option is available in Menus->Social Menu

    I have understood that it assigns an icon when you enter the address of a social media platform. It generally works for me.

    What doesn’t quite work is when I try to add an email address. Then I guess that a symbol that looks like an envelope will come up. But a chain appears instead, symbolizing a link.

    I wrote like this “mailto:[email protected]”

    This should work but it doesn’t.
