Compatibility with version 5.9

    Hi, I tried to update manually (via FTP) from version 5.9.13.16 to 7.5.1 with no success. Links were not shown by the new version.

    Is the newest version compatible with versions older than 6 ?

    Or does it work when I update via update bouton on the plugins page?

    You need to go through an upgrade process to convert your links from 5.9.x versions to the current versions of Link Library. I recently hid the controls to do this as Link Library 6.0 has been out for so long now. That being said, I just added a way to show the upgrade tools again.

    First, update to the latest version of Link Library.

    Then, visit the URL: https://mysite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=link_library_links&page=link-library-general-options&show60upgradetools=1

    Be sure to replace mysite.com with your own site URL. This will show some extra tools in the Global Options section. Click on Re-Import links and it should go through and convert all of your links to the new format.
