Read More – character set

I have used Read More for a long time, but today I can not make new entries. The upper link shall start with [expander_maker id=”1″ more=” but it changes the charcter set to: [expander_maker id=?1″ more=? The left side quotation marks ” change to ?, and Read More does not work. The previous pages where I have used Read More are still working.
