Disappearing Posts

  • after I click on my website pages from a search engine I notice my posts are gone from it. The web page loads but the posts are gone. I have to go in and manually and update each page for the posts to reappear. I thought it may be a hosting problem but it isn’t because the pages load with the header and footer intact, its just that the posts themselves are missing. Any help would be great and I’m wondering of I should just change my theme. TIA Ron

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 – 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    Try:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
