how to change the background image of the motion theme,

There are thousands of WordPress themes – which means that many people won’t be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site where people can see the theme might result in more responses.

the theme has some sort of layers of two images I don’t really understand, is there anyone that knows this ?

Easy. Just name your new background bodybg.jpg and drop it into the theme’s images folder. You should make a backup of the original bodybg.jpg first. Try to make your image the same size as the original for use on larger monitors, and use a darker image with no bright spots.

This is the site i am developing with a highly modified motion theme.

Hi I’m also tryint to modify the Motion theme – and to add a new background image – I don’t seem to be able to find the measurements for the original in order to match the new one to it… I am adding a photo image that I want to take up approx 70% of the background and the other 30% a colour..

Any tips would be greatly appreciated please – I am a bit of a novice but trying to get on top of this..!
