Issue with importing from excel

    Lately I am encountering some issue when I import from excel table. The steps taken is the same as what I have always do. The table was imported successfully but when I do any editing on the table, it doesn’t allow me to save and show me the following errors. Can you advise what went wrong?

    Attention: Unfortunately, an error occurred. The table could not be saved to the database properly.

    These errors were encountered:

    ajax_save_table_save [35];
    table_save_post_update [3022];
    invalid_page_template (Invalid page template.)

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Just to be sure: Is this also happening when directly adding and then editing a new table in TablePress, or only for tables that were imported from a file?

    That invalid_page_template in the error message indicates that some other plugin or the theme are somehow interacting with TablePress’ attempt to save the table, by modifying the so-called “page template”. TablePress uses the default value of WordPress here, but that error message indicates that the page template was changed along the way.
