Need help with Shipstation issue

    I am using Shipstation on my site. Everything has been setup with site being linked to Shipstation. There is an info block on the admin backend of the website telling me what to do to connect the site to Shipstation that includes the auth key (see linked example). The issue I have is now that setup is completed when I click on the “X” to get rid of the info block nothing happens. I no longer need it but it will not delete or clear from the backend. I contacted Shipstation and they informed me this was a Woocommerce issue. Does anyone have an answer for this? I would appreciate the help.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I understand that you are unable to dismiss the information notice about the ShipStation plugin on your site.

    Can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled, then click the X button and see if this works?

    If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

    If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

    If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Hi @xue28,

    Thank you for your help. Took me a while to get around to trying your suggestions. Your first suggestion worked to get rid of the information notice. I am using the same plugins I use on other sites but they don’t use Shipstation. I would like to know exactly which plugin was causing it but glad it is gone. Maybe a Shipstation update or whatever plugin update will fix the problem. Again, thank you for giving my issue attention.
