Hi, I’m going to pay for the premium version, because I need full functionality of the plugin, but before that I would like to test and fix everything possible.

So like I said in the title I have some issue with Fluent Forms and reCAPTCHA v2, what is exactly the problem:

If I choose the option “Do you want to block reCAPTCHA before consent” – YES , the plugin block reCAPTCHA and place a placeholder like it should in my contact form, but after Accepting the consent everything disappear, no placeholder or reCAPTCHA banner, which not allow form submission. If I switch OFF the blocking function it works, but without consent, so not good…

I check, read and try everything possible solution from this Forum and your documentation for the plugin, but without any difference. Also I try Google reCAPTCHA v3 but it not work at all.

Note: I use Google reCAPTCHA v2 everywhere in my website where I need it (registration, lost password etc.) and there this blocking funcion works without any problems, it blocks google without consent with placeholder on it and when Accept the consent it shows the reCAPTCHA banner. So I don’t know what can be the problem.

Also I have few more questions, not issues, related to the Premium version and including some for your other plugin Complianz – Terms and Conditions, so is there a another way to contact you or this forum is the only one?

    Thanks!

    Hi @antekapa,

I will set up the ReCaptcha with Fluent Forms to take a closer look at the behavior.

    Hi @antekapa,

    I have a working example here: https://vloeiend.instawp.xyz/contact/

Could you switch your ReCaptcha implementation in Fluent Forms to Version 3 (Invisible reCAPTCHA)?

And then apply the configuration steps listed here?

    https://complianz.io/wp-fluent-forms-recaptcha/

I try this yesterday, but for some reason version 3 not work at all, no matter of your plugin settings or if I switch off the plugin, is still not load like not exist. When I set the api keys in fluent form settings it works, but not in the actual Form….

    Hi @antekapa,

As it works correctly on the previously attached example site, could you provide an URL to your site? That would allow us to check what the potential difference(s) might be.

Yes this is the link to the form https://www.baltazon.com/contact-us/

but now is with version 2, I’m not on computer now and it’s will be hard to me to change it to 3, but if I have to I can do it later

    Hi @antekapa,

Yes, please set it to v3 Invisible instead. That should work the same for you as it does on the attached example page with Fluent Forms.

I don’t know why but this version 3 not working at all for me.

I switch of all of the plugins e left only Fluent forms and even then this Version 3 even not try to load inside the form….

After that I turn on your plugin as well and try again with Version 2 and still have the same issue. Even when accept the cookies, the reCAPTCHA disappear.

I try with hCaptcha and it works because your plugin not blocking it, but I don’t know how legal is that and that is what I’m worry about.

Any ideas why your plugin not give access to Version 2 specially in Fluent forms, because like I said before everywhere on my website it works?

    Thanks!

    Hi @antekapa,

Did you change the API keys as well? V3 needs new keys. I had Fluent Forms working with V3. https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin.

    Another solution would be https://complianz.io/friendly-captcha-a-privacy-friendly-option-for-recaptcha/

If you want to continue with hCaptcha, please let me know if you’re implementing this yourself or via a plugin so I can have a look at an integration.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

So, yes I change the keys for V3, but no matter this must be some problem with Fluent Forms.

About the Friendly captcha – I don’t think to pay for something like that and this is another extra plugin I have to much even now.

About the last – I change the captcha with another from Cloudflare called Turnstile, it works even better of hCaptcha and also they say that they not use or keep the users data, these both decisions are integrated in Fluent Forms so I use them straight from there, so it is a good idea to check them both Cloudflare Turnstile, hCaptcha, but definitely this from CloudFlare works better for me and the user don’t have to click anywhere.

Also can I aks 2 things more about this your plugin:

    1. What’s gonna happen if I press the red button “Clear Cookies” inside in your Cookie Scan, because I have more that 70 cookies there, but there have many (which I recognize) from many old plugins which I just install for test and delete a long time ago and also many more cookies where I don’t know what they are. So if I clear them, what is that mean, they will be all deleted and then only the active now will come back or what?! Sorry just not find any information about this.
    2. You know the plugin create a Cookie Policy, this policy had a Contact information by the end of it, but this information is my Country, website, and EMPTY email (just email: and nothing after), whatever the plugin Wizard not ask me anywhere for any contact information. Any Idea where and how I can include this?

    Thanks!

    Hi @antekapa,

We will write an article about CloudFlare Turnstile soon to provide more information about it. As for your remaining questions:

#1: “Clear cookies” will delete the previous results of the cookie scan, meaning; the cookies that had previously been detected during the Cookie Scan. Running a new scan will result in cookies that are still detected on your site being reported.

#2: After you set the Cookie Policy to “Generated by Complianz” under Wizard > General > Documents, you will be able to adjust the contact details under Wizard > General > Website information.

    Hope it helps!

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

About the clear cookies – when this will not delete the cookies, I’m sure you are many many years ahead of me in this business, do you know some way to DELETE all of this rubbish not in use cookies from my website, because they are so a lot I even not recognize most of them, for example have cookie called Matomo but I don’t know what is that and don’t remember did I ever install something like that… and many more….

About the Contact information yes that works I just not choose “Generated by Complianz”

    Thanks!

    Hi @antekapa,

You might still have those cookies set in your browser, so they will also be found when running a new cookie scan. I would try navigating to the back-end of your website in a fresh Incognito/Private Browsing window, then clear cookies in the Complianz Wizard and run a new scan.

    Kind regards, Jarno
