Can’t Remove Podcast from Feed Updation Tool

    We have a duplicate of a podcast which does not work. We’d like to remove it so it’s not confusing when using the widget, however whenever we select the podcast and try to Delete it, an error is displayed and the broken podcast remains in the link.

    “Feed data not available. Either data already reset OR feed url is not correct.”

    Is there a way to clear the plugin cache or tables so that we can start fresh? Uninstalling the plugin did not work. Do all instances of the block need to be removed in order for the feeds to reset?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for using podcast player on your website.

    1. Any podcast’s data should be completely deleted from the database when you select the podcast from the dropdown (in feed updation tool) and click on the “Delete podcast” button.
    2. Please clear browser cache and refresh the page and repeat the above step 1. It should say that podcast has been deleted successfully.
    3. However, if there is any instance of the podcast player block/widget/shortcode on your website with this broken feed URL, podcast player will fetch the data again (as it will think that this is a new podcast which needs to be displayed in the block). Therefore, you have to remove all instances of podcast player block with broken link to stop fetching the data again.

    I hope this should clear the issue. However, inform me if you need more help or explanation on this.
