Change copy in news page header

  • My theme automatically generates the news page and cannot be edited. The current news page show a nonsense sentence in the header and I can’t change it. I’d add an excerpt for it but I cannot even edit the news page

    @americanstudies The News page is often very specific to the theme. In this case, it looks like you need to either edit the body or Excerpt of the News page itself. You can see it’s coming from the News page by doing a search.

    While WordPress’s Admin Bar doesn’t show the “Edit Page” button when viewing the News page, you should be able to find it by going to to Pages > All Pages in the admin and searching for News.
