Restricting Postcodes UK

Hello. We have a small issue where a client restricts his shipping zone to a specific area/radius in the UK.

So the way I set it up was to allow the postcodes he sent me with an asterisk so it allowed everything in WV1* or WV2* or DY1* for example

However, he had an issue yesterday where someone ordered products that lived in WV15 but he does not deliver to that area, but it’s because WV1* is wildcarded and it allows the WV15 then as part of the wildcard.

Is there anyway around this to block certain postcodes?
