    Hey there,

I am having a problem getting WP to show up in my browser after uploading through Dreamweaver.

I set up the database through our web server control panel and added all the DB info to config.php file.

I copied the files for Wp 3.0.1 into our site folder. I then renamed the directory “fuel.”

Dreamweaver asked if I wanted to update the links and I said “yes.”

I then uploaded everything to our web server.

    I then go to https://www.revyouup.com/fuel/wp-admin/install.php.

When I look at the source code from within the browser it is blank.

    Any thoughts?????

    Thank you.

Can you confirm that PHP is running properly on your server?

You may check you settings in the Settings >> General sub-panel (lines 3 and 4) and make sure these are set properly.

    Hi James,

I checked and it is running. I also know PHP is running properly because I have blogs on two clients web site running with no problem on the server.

    Michael,

I can’t even get to the Settings page because I can’t get to the install.php page. It comes up blank. https://www.revyouup.com/fuel/wp-admin/install.php

I would upload the wordpress files again and not use Dreamweaver. Filezilla is a great free ftp client and is easy to set up. Overwrite all of the files in your existing installation (wp-config will stay there) and then try again.

From previous experience the problem will lie in Dreamweaver changing all of the links.

    **EDIT
I meant that you should upload a clean installation. Not the ones you changed.
