Adding blog Index page to navigation

    I have added a navigation block to the header, and linked a couple of pages successfully, but when I search for a ‘blog’ or ‘index’ to add the blog index it’s not appearing as an option. What am I doing wrong?

    I worked out the problem – I thought the Index template was for the blog post grid. Turns out the Home template is for blog post grid, confusingly. I had been treating it as a new home page (hey, I’m learning!) I then set up two pages – Home and News – and assigned them as homepage and blog under Settings > Reading. Adding this here for anyone else similarly confused. ??
