Harvesting Email Addresses from Comments

  • I am collecting email addresses from customers of mine that leave comments on my posts. I am emailing them to give them the opportunity to opt in to my occasional email marketing. Right now, I’m just copying the email address from WP and pasting into my address book for gmail. Is there an easier way to do this?

    Don’t spam people. Have a separate mailing list sign up form where they can input their address and opt in to receive communications from you.

    Thanks, didn’t think that was spamming but if it is–don’t want that.
