Once a user accepted the cookies the script blocker functionality loads the scripts and set’s the cookies. However, when a user adjusts the settings or revokes (decline button) afterward. The cookies are not getting removed.
This makes the plugin, not GDPR conform in Europe. (at least out of the box without adding custom code) I also doubt that the majority of the users actually know that as it is not mentioned on your website.

I found this closed issue regarding the same problem. I don’t understand how this essential functionality can’t be part of your roadmap and is considered the desired workflow of the plugin.

  • Hi there,

Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans of bringing this out right now as this is the desired workflow of the plugin.

The plugin doesn’t delete the necessary cookie irrespective of the user’s consent.

I have pitched your idea to the product team, and if we get more requests around this, we will definitely consider picking this up.

    Regards
