editing a template returns a blank page on submit

  • When I edit a template in the Appearance editor, I get a blank page on submit. The change appears to be made, but for some reason I never get the “your change was made” message, nor am I returned to the page I was on like what normally occurs.

    This only started happening recently.

    Activating a new theme does the same thing, however, the change is not made.

    Actually, it appears to be something I’ve done to a theme, but I can’t quite work out what that could possibly be.

    Does anyone have any idea what change to a template could possibly cause this behaviour?
