Book Schema is not working

The published date is used in the details you add in the Editions section and the Schema.org link for the book format is also correct and will validate without any issues.

For the issue with the author, we can check the issue with the page you have shared but are not able to replicate it on our end. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of our plugin: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

If the issue persists on the latest version, please share some screenshots of your Schema setup so we can check this further.

Hi, I’m using the latest version of RankMath and there are still problems. In your tutorial for the book schema you wright: https://rankmath.com/kb/book-schema/

Author Name

The next required field is?Author Name, where you need to add the author of this book. Rank Math pulls the author’s name from the post through the variable?%name%, and you may have to change it if the author of the book is someone else.

The author of the book is not Topfgartenwelt it is Martina Liel but it is impossible to change it!

Date Published

You can choose the first publication date of this edition by clicking the date picker.

The first publication date of the book is not the date I wrote the book presentation. But it is also impossible to change it.

And why RankMath duplicates the text and the picture for the schema. Is it also possible to use the schema without that?

We just checked the page once again, and it seems that the author is now updated in the review and showing the intended name.

Regarding the date, that is extracted from the updated date of the page and not directly from the Book Schema markup.

If you would like to control that data on the page yourself and add the Schema markup without adding the contents of it on the page, you can set the review location to custom like so:
https://i.rankmath.com/i/AqQvox

I have already tried to use the custom code but the content was still duplicated. Apart from that the review stars must be shown otherwise the rules from Google are violated. Would there by a way to show just the stars but not the rest of the markup?
