Hello, is it also possible to create simple text templates?

    Example text:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum.

I would like to include this text in a post if I need it.

I used the Code Snippets Plugin to create an HTML snippet with the text.

However, when I select the snippet via the post editor, only a shortcode is pasted in the editor. But I want to insert the text, not a shortcode.

    Here is a screencast.

    Does that work too?

    thanks

Currently, yes, snippets that are inserted into posts works by placing a shortcode, and then replacing it with the content of the snippet when the post is viewed. It works like this so that updating the snippet itself will also update the content anywhere.

If you’re looking for the different behaviour where the snippet content is inserted directly instead of embedded, it’s not something we currently support, but I’d definitely be open to adding it as an option in the future.

If you add it as a feature request on https://roadmap.codesnippets.pro/ then I’ll definitely keep it in mind when working on upcoming plugin releases.

    Hi.

Thanks, that would be nice if this option could be integrated. This saves me an extra plugin for this feature.

    I made a feature request.

    Thanks
