I have my homepage pointing to a specific page, so I have the need to create a link in my menu that points to all the articles I write.

What I have now is a link to a ‘Blog’ category, which has 4 subcategories in it, so that I can show all the articles.

TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF (Home link and Blog link are on the top of the page)

I would like to get rid of my ‘Blog’ category.

Is it possible to create a menu item that shows all the articles of all categories?

    How do I do it?

  • Hi stecube,

Are you trying to just list the articles like Alex King does on his articles page? If that is the case, you can download the articles plugin. From there, just create a new page and add the token ###articles### on that page, then you can make a link to it.

If you’re just wanting to list all your posts on a page that isn’t your main page you can do it by editing your settings. First create a new page called Blog (or whatever you like). Then, under your wordpress admin page, go into the Settings menu and click on Reading. From there, set your Front Page Display to whatever page you have currently and set your Posts Page to Blog. Your blog page will then list all your posts regardless of category.

Thanks, I’m just looking for that to have a listing of all articles.
It seems this plugin above only works when starting a blog. To do this when a blog has already let’s say 3500 articles, to have all those headlines listed, is there a way how to do that later? Thanks for any suggestion!
