How to use the views counter in posts sorting?

  • I just created a wordpress widget that shows a list of popular posts on the bases of post views or post comments. Sorting on the bases of post comments is working fine, however for the sorting feature on the bases of post views, I want to know how can I integrate this plugin with my widget?

    Hi,

    The plugin has it’s own widget for displaying popular posts based on number of views. Can’t you use that?

    Thank you for the response.
    In my case, the plugin doesn’t show posts in sidebar. Instead, it shows number of views only with each post. What I need is, show posts in sidebar on the basis of post views or number of comments. To achieve this, I need to know the meta_key that is storing the number of views. Can you tell me the meta_key? And guide how can I use this plugin in my sidebar widget (that is sorting posts on comments count but not sorting on the basis of post views). If you say, I can share the widget code with you. Thank you.
