WordPress and site very slow after update

    After updating the Qode Essential Addon plugin my site has become incredibly slow and wordpress is impossible to use. If I deactivate the plugin the site goes back to normal speed. The site takes upwards of 30 seconds to load. Even after rolling back the update the site still take forever to load when activated.

    file_get_contents(https://export.qodethemes.com/qi/json/demos.json): Failed to open stream: Connection timed out

    This is the error code. Seems to be a theme issue

    As you may have noticed, in past several days we’ve been experiencing issues with our servers. This resulted in the restricted access to certain theme live demos, and issues with some functionalities like the demo import.
