WYSIWYG Editor Not Displaying

  • The WYSIWYG editor is not displaying in the Edit Post window. There is a tab for HTML and one for Visual. The Visual one just shows the Add Video, Add Picture etc icons but none of the regular formatting icons. I can’t find a preference to set this anywhere.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 – 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can sometimes interfere with the admin panel).
