Since 2014, we had a table presentation of just 7 columns based on the shortcode a developer put into our site for us:

    [table id=26 filter=”show_public” hide_columns=”4″ automatic_url_conversion=”true” datatables_columnfilter=”true” datatables_columnfilterwidgets=”true” datatables_columnfilterwidgets_exclude_columns=1,2,6 /]

But now (because of a plugin update?) ALL 20 columns are showing?

    Help?!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

It looks like you are using the TablePress Row Filter Extension here. Is that still activated as a plugin on the “Plugins” screen of your WordPress Dashboard?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Yes, it is.

    Hi,

ah, my bad, you are actually talking about “columns” and not “rows” here. The Row Filtering Extension does not influence this then.

Instead, please check if the undesired columns are still marked as “hidden” on the table’s “Edit” screen (they would have a red background color then).

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

no problem, you are very welcome! ?? Good to hear that this helped!

To confirm: The columns where not marked as hidden there?

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!

That’s right. They were not marked as hidden yet. I made the adjustment, and everything is working as it should now.

    Thanks for your quick responses!
