• This is the best events management plugin available for WordPress right now, especially with the end of free support for “The Events Calendar”. The developer is very responsive to support requests; I had a bug of mine go from reported to fixed to new plugin version released
    in less than 24hrs.

While highly recommended, it is not necessary easy for folks without some experience in programming. If you are the only person maintaining/posting-to your wordpress blog, you will be thrilled at the ability to customize exactly to you wishes. If you maintain your site and have editors who post and create events, they will need training in how to format events.

I suggest the following modifications. (Whether or not they are adopted, I will still use this plugin.)

    1) Options requiring any programming knowledge should be delegated to the Settings page or defaulted to a collapsed state if creating a new event. These advanced settings (in collapsed form), should appear at the end of the event creation page. Event details first, display options last.

    2) When creating/editing an event, locations should have a simple checkbox for choosing to include an embedded map.

    3) When a start date is chosen for events, the end date should initialize to the same date.

Many praises to the developer for making a working, highly customizable plugin!

Thanks for the praises and the suggestions. I’ll try to take these into account for the next release. Could I ask you to open a feature request on the suggested forum for these? Thanks!

Prompt attention indeed. The developer has just implemented collapsible formatting settings for individual events.

I have posted other requests to the plugin’s official forum.
