I’m using WP Super Cache with the Jetpack Plugin and it’s CDN enabled, but visiting the CDN Tab in WP Super Cache triggers WordPress Recovery Mode.

In the email I’m getting it tells me that the error that was thrown is the following:

Uncaught ValueError: Unknown format specifier "S" in /home/sites/site100015607/web/my-site-url/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/ossdl-cdn.php:291

  • Hello there!

After checking the code, it’s possible that there’s a bug there.

Could you tell me what the PHP version running the web server is?
If you could also provide the WP Super Cache version that would be great!

Oh sorry, I didn’t see the message.

My hoster is using Apache2 with PHP 8.2 and WP Super Cache is on version 1.9.2.

    Hey @beenni09052005!

No problem and thank you for the information! That helped us pinpoint the problem.

Is your WP Super Cache in German by any chance? I’m asking, since there’s a bug in the translation for that exact line of text (there should be an s right before the S in %1$Site.

If it is, the only solution for the moment is to switch to English (as it doesn’t have that error) until the translation gets fixed so you can update it.
