sidebars not loading

  • Hello All,
    I have a template that i purchase under wordpress version 2.9 i upgraded to wordpress 3.0 everything works fine except when i create a page and select the option to use a customize sidebar and press update the sidebar go back to default, therefore it does not apply the selected sidebar. it worked fine under wordpress 2.9 but does not work under wordpress 3.0 do you have any suggestions? my server is a freebsd 8.0
