    Hi,

Please how do I get the Jetpack Sitemap function to include links to products on my woocommerce site? It’s only showing links to posts and pages. Thanks

    Hi @strictlyonlinebiz

To get the Jetpack Sitemap function to include links to products on your WooCommerce site, you will need to make sure that the Jetpack plugin is properly configured to include these links. Here are the steps you can follow to do this:

    1. Install and activate the Jetpack plugin on your WooCommerce site.
    2. Navigate to the Jetpack settings page in your WordPress dashboard and click on the “Sitemaps” tab.
    3. Scroll down to the “Additional Sitemaps” section and click on the “Add new sitemap” button.
    4. In the “Name” field, enter a name for the sitemap (e.g. “WooCommerce Products”).
    5. In the “Type” field, select “Products” from the dropdown menu.
    6. Click the “Add sitemap” button to save the changes.
    7. Go back to the “Sitemaps” tab and click on the “Regenerate sitemaps” button to regenerate the sitemap and include the links to your WooCommerce products.

After following these steps, the Jetpack Sitemap function should include links to your WooCommerce products in the sitemap. You can verify this by visiting the sitemap URL (e.g. yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml) and checking to see if the links to your products are included.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

@bruceallen Thanks for responding sir. Unfortunately, there’s no Additional Sitemaps section in my Jetpack installation. All I see under Jetpack Settings >> Traffic >> Sitemaps is Generate XML sitemaps. Like this https://ibb.co/G92cQ7d

Could you post a screenshot of what it’s supposed to look like? Thanks

    Hi @strictlyonlinebiz

I apologize, the instructions were in error. What you’ll want to do is to add a custom filter to your site using a code snippets plugin. This page shows you the code needed to add WooCommerce Products to your sitemap:

    https://developer.jetpack.com/hooks/jetpack_sitemap_post_types/

This page shows how to add the code snippets:
