    Hi,

I temporarily copied my original site to a subdomain for testing purposes. I noticed the authentication key was different than on my original site. Then I migrated my original site to another web hosting.

Shipstation stopped working and the products are not getting imported anymore. The logs were not created until I deleted the shipstation plugin from the subdomain. There is a new log on the newly migrated site as of today: 12-22-2022 @ 12:22:00 Invalid Authentication Key.

If I compare the authentication keys on the website and the Shipstation and they are different, would I just change it in the Shipstation account? Would it mess up the already imported products or import them again?

Please advise how to get it working again.

    Thank you

  • Hi @customfit

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that after changing the hosting environment of your site, the plugin stopped working and produced the error message: Invalid Authentication Key., is that correct?

The?Authentication Key?is a unique key that you’ll use when connecting your store to ShipStation.

You mentioned that the Authentication Key on your site and on your Shipstation account is different, please follow the steps here on How to change the Authentication Key.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hello,

Disconnecting and reconnecting the Shipstation with woocommerce with a new Authentication key worked. Products are being imported and logs created.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    Great news.

This is optional, if you have a few minutes, we’d appreciate it if you could share your experience with the community by leaving a review. I’m going to mark this as resolved.

    Best.
