I’m using Popup Maker to display a subscribe form on my website. The trigger is Time Delay/Auto Open and it sets a cookie. On popup close, I’ve set it to not display again for 6 months.

I’m running a complex site, and I’ve learned I need to clear my website cache, reset the WP file permissions, and re-save my permalinks after updating my many plugins to avoid glitches. I’m seeing visitors that have already subscribed to our newsletter re-submit the form multiple times. This leads me to believe that the cookies set when they complete the form are being cleared and that they are being served the form again before 6 months is up.

I’m not really sure how cookies work, so I’m wondering if this what is causing the redisplay? If so, what can I do to prevent it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @knittingtheweb

Thank you for getting in touch, and we’re happy to help.

We checked your site, and saw the popup is using cookie – On Popup Close “pum-25639”.

A cookie “Form submission” is also available. However, is it using the same cookie name “pum-25639”?

If not, could you add the same cookie name on the trigger, including on the Form Submission cookie?

    Here’s an example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/llug5Y6v

We hope that helps. Let us know how that goes.

    Thank you!
