separate folder install question

    I want my home page address without /wordpress/ at the end. So I have to intall it in another folder, right?
    But the caveat is:
    “The only catch is the “Edit this” links will no longer appear by every entry and comment if you’re using this option. This is a limitation of how we’re setting cookies, and this may be fixed in the future.”
    Has this been resolved? I’d like to be able to edit posts and comments. (how else could I do this otherwise?)

    You can always edit posts and comments directly through the Admin Panel. It’s just that the links to take you to the editing screens from your blog would no longer work.
