Failed login log not working

    Will the firewall function when running behind a nginx server? Because I noticed that the firewall plugin does not detect failed logins on one of the servers hosting WordPress, but the activity log plugin does.

    Both plugins should not be in conflict because they are installed on all of our websites and have only failed to work on one.

    Is there anything I’m missing to ensure that the failed login log records details and blocks IP addresses that have failed to login?

    Hi @tzshng,

    As you are saying it works for other site, it should work, you can deactivate the plugin one by one and check if any conflicts.

    WP Security > User login > Login lockout tab have enable login lockout feature checkbox enable it and save to block failed logins

    Thank you for your prompt response. However, I’ve noticed that even the account activity log and 404 monitoring aren’t working. I don’t believe we can disable the account activity log, correct?

    So I believe it boils down to a code conflict.

    Not WP Activity Log plugin please confirm.

    Yes, that is the plugin I’m using. But even disabled the plugin isn’t helping the log in the plugin to work correctly.

    Failed login works fine If Activity log plugin installed. I can not find conflict for that.

    Also for to enable 404 detection go to WP Security > Firewall > 404 detection tab… There check the Enable 404 IP detection and lockout and Save settings.
