Ultimate Member version 2.5.2 needs to be update to work correctly

Hi @saraschi, I’m only a user like you (not from Ultimate Member support), but this morning I saw a post that someone faced problems like you with this last version update of UM.

This was the answer that gaved to this other person:

Try to downgrade to UM 2.5.1 because this test with a call to current_user_can('manage_options') andwp_get_current_user was added in UM 2.5.2. Install the UM 2.5.1 ZIP file as a new uploaded WP Plugin.

Yes you are right about this issue with the UM DB update. The update should work with UM 2.5.1 so if upgrade from a very old version of UM download UM 2.5.1 for the update.

After having UM 2.5.1 installed without any issues try to update to UM 2.5.2 because now the DB update was made by UM 2.5.1.

The issue this morning the user was updating from UM 2.3.1 which I found by looking at the UM “Install Info” posted in the thread.
