    Hello, I installed burst statistics on a newborn website (2 weeks old) and all went well.
    This website is linked to an instagram account and a pininterest account which are somewhat older then the website, with followers who have visited the website last week.
    But in burst statitics referents, none of these social accounts appear. How come ?

    Hello,

    Sorry, I did answer and then was away for the week end, I suppose I did not send…

    It does display referrees like google ou trello, cited 1 or 2 each but no mention of social accounts at all, and main referent is said to be the website itself which is pretty strange and does not make sense.
    The plugin was installed previously to the prepod website and migrated with it, this may cause a problem ?

    It’s okay!

    The issue that your own site shows up is caused by the migration. It should not show up on new data.

    Did the visitors visit the preprod website before you migrated?

    No, they did not, but 2 people at least did, maybe 3 or 4, people working on the whole project and who needed a glimpse on the work in progress.
    So, how can I reset referents ? Should I just unistall your plugin and install again ?

    Hi @oaz,

    I can’t say why those referrers did not show. It could be that de browser stripped the referrers.

    To delete ALL data you can deactivate and a pop up will ask you if you want to delete all data. This will not just delete the referrers, but it will delete all the Burst data.

    well, I’d rather not delete ALLdata, but have the referrers working, but this feature is just stuck and has been for 2 weeks..

    Hi @oaz,

    I don’t understand what you mean by the feature being stuck. Could you elaborate? We are building this free plugin the best we can, and I’m sorry it does not seem to work the way you want.

    Unfortunately, we don’t have the option to delete specific data. You could delete the referrers by running an SQL query on the database.

    Hi @oaz,

    We have found an issue where an update would not update a record but create a new record. This could be why the referrers would not show up. We are working on a fix and this should be released in the upcoming weeks.

    If you want we can make a script that deletes all the referrers from your database. So you can start clean, without losing other data.

    Please let us know if you still want this.
