Exclude subcategories from search

    Hi, I am trying to exclude the subcategories from the search, which are Diesel and Elektro.

    So far I added the two words to the “Stop W?rter Liste”, which should be words, that are excluded from the search, but that doesn’t take any effect. I’ve already re-indexed the table and deleted the cache unter the tab Performance.

    Can you pls give me an advice how this can be done?

    Hi,

    So, you add Diesel and Elektro words inside ‘Stop words list’ and separate them with commas. Is that correct?

    Do you see unexpected results when typing one of those words or you type some additional words too.

    In fact the best way to exclude some categories from the search is to use search results filters. But in this case you need the PRO plugin version.

    Hi, yes, and it didn’t take any effect.

    But I solved now by myself by adding the hook to exclude taxonomies.
