    WordPress version 6.1.1
    Active theme: Divi (version 4.18.0)
    Current plugin: WooCommerce (version 7.2.0)
    PHP version 7.4.25

    Hi,

    My website is down since the woocommerce plugin seems to have released its new update. I have been able to login to my dashboard via the recovery link sent by wordpress. Here is the error message I could find for woocommerce :
    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 892 of the file /home/vickien/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/customizer/class-wc-shop-customizer.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wc_current_theme_is_fse_theme() in /home/vickien/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/customizer/class-wc-shop-customizer.php:892 Stack trace: #0 /home/vickien/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-woocommerce.php(479): include_once() #1 /home/vickien/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-woocommerce.php(177): WooCommerce->includes() #2 /home/vickien/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-woocommerce.php(136): WooCommerce->__construct() #3 /home/vickien/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/woocommerce.php(47): WooCommerce::instance() #4 /home/vickien/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/woocommerce.php(62): WC() #5 /home/vickien/www/wp-settings.php(447): include_once(‘/home/vickien/w…’) #6 /home/vickien/www/wp-config.php(92): require_once(‘/home/vickien/w…’) #7 /home/vickien/www/wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘/home/vickien/w…’) #8 /home/vickien/www/wp-login.php(12): require(‘/home/vickien/w…’) #9 {main} thrown

    I am not sure what to do now, as I know if I re-activate the plugin, the website will probably go down again.
    Thanks very much for your help,

    Lucie

  • I have same problem in the past every time when simply click on the alert update link. Now I do deactivate then delete it instead. Then FTP the latest Woocommerce file to the Plugin directory. Login to the admin (via the recovery link sent by wordpress.) and activate it.

    If someone have better way to update WooCommerce, please share here. Really appreciate it.

    You can simply replace the woocommerce directory in plugins with the latest stable release (7.1.1) and everything should be working as before AND immediately disable auto update to prevent to been updated to 7.2.0 and hopefully after 7.2.1 we will be able to turn back on the auto update, cause I had similar problem with these error message:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_readonly() in .../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/global/quantity-input.php:43 Stack trace: #0 .../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-core-functions.php(345): include() #1 .../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-template-functions.php(1815): wc_get_template('global/quantity...', Array) #2 .../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/cart/cart.php(122): woocommerce_quantity_input(Array, Object(WC_Product_Simple), false) #3 .../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-core-functions.php(345): include('/web/htdocs6/ja...') #4 .../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/shortcodes/class-wc-shortcode-cart.php(99): wc_get_template('cart/cart.php') #5 .../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-shortcod in .../wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/global/quantity-input.php on line 43

    Thanks for your reply, do you have any idea how I can do that please?

    Thanks!

    ?My personal experience suggestion, Disable auto update until WooCommerce announces created/developed solutions to prevent the critical update issue.

    Hey all,

    I wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that there looks to be some movement on the open bug we had around this. While we don’t have an ETA, I recommend keeping an eye on the changelog for any upcoming updates.
