    Hi there,

I have the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin installed and everything seemed to connect okay with PayPal, but I am seeing this error back on the page after the popup tries to load the PayPal login.

Default ‘Storefront’ theme results in the same error.

    Can you assist? Thanks.

    Hi @pmycroft,

The PayPal API responds with PAYEE_ACCOUNT_RESTRICTED, which means there is a temporary restriction on the connected merchant account, and it cannot receive funds until this has been lifted.
To get this resolved, I suggest reaching out to the PayPal merchant support. Usually this is only a matter of verifying the account identity, but it can depend on the individual case.
This is not a technical problem with the integration at least, so when you connect a sandbox account it should be working. But I hope it points you in the right direction.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
