    Hello,
please post the URL of your site and I’ll check things out. I’ve been out on vacation and am now back supporting and upgrading the widget. Will be happy to help!

    Hi Kirilln,

Thanks for the super swift reply!

The site can be found here: https://yellowbuses.base-dev.com/

Have a quick look about and let me know your initial thoughts. If I change the user to my personal account this will show tweets fine. I know the account in mention hasn’t posted since July 27th – but shouldn’t the widget just find their most recent tweets regardless of the time frame?

Any help you can offer would be most appreciated,

    Thanks Kirilln,

    – Matt

I am having this same problem – I put in a username but it’s only showing mentions by others about the username, not tweets from the actual user.

This seems to have resolved itself for me. I think this is due to the account owner has started to tweet again which they hadnt in 3 weeks while the marketing manager was on holiday. Seems odd that the system would ignore the older tweets though?

    Thanks,

    – Matt

@mnmedai: when you put a username, make sure to use the “@” sign in front of it. Without it, the plugin thinks that it’s a search keyword and as a result pulls in mentions even if you explicitly turn off mentions under WP Admin > Settings > Tweet Blender > Filters tab.

@wearebase: the widget indeed should pull in the latest tweets from user even if they happened a year ago; however, there is a catch. If you use Twitter’s search API then you’ll be subject to Twitter purging “old” tweets from search index. In Twitter time, “old” could be 1 day old ??
You can switch back to regular user API in such cases by going to WP Admin > Settings > Tweet Blender > Advanced tab and checking the box “do not use Search API”
