  • Hi @georgesmcp,

It is possible, the Employer role doesn’t provide any special capabilities to the user, it is mostly used by other themes and plugins. For all user types except for Admin, they will be able to post jobs and view and edit their own job postings. You can find more details on that, as well as some information on modifying the capabilities of the roles with other plugins, here:

Hello mnutt, thanks for getting back to me.

I have these wordpress roles below.

    https://snipboard.io/FZdNty.jpg

    From this list:

    “Assinante” = Subscriber (membership user).
    “Membros” = Member (freemium user).

    I would like that:

1 – Only Subscribers are able to post jobs on the front end.
2 – Member can only apply on the front-end (they cannot post jobs on the front-end).

Is it possible to do that?

Also, if the user is already registred on my user base. Do they still need to registrer again to post/candidate for a job?

    Hi @georgesmcp ,

How are you creating subscribers (memberships)? How are you collecting payment?

If you’re using WC Subscriptions and/or WC Paid Listings or Simple Paid Listings, per www.remarpro.com community guidelines, we are not allowed to support premium plugins (paid add-ons) in these forums.

Please use this form to get support for our paid add-ons:

    Best,

    Thanks!`

    Hey, Cena

I’m not using any plugin, they’re wordpress default roles. Once user make a payment, the user role change from member to subscriber.

Gotcha, I misunderstood the use of ‘Subscribers (members)’.

    > Once user make a payment, the user role change from member to subscriber.

That said, how are you accepting payemnt? Only WPJM WC Paid Listings (and Simple Paid Listings) are integrated with accepting payment for jobs, and both are apid addons. (and you’ll need to email us for support).

If you’re using something else to accept payments, it’s unlikely we’d be able to help because we don’t make anything else for this purpose, and therefore can’t provide support for it.

In general, though, WPJM is assigning user roles based on a) if you submit a job, you’re an employer, and if you apply to one, you’re a candidate. Otherwise, users are assigned whatever your default WordPress role is for users.

WPJM itself isn’t able to change user roles depending on conditions you specify, including payment.

    Best,
    Cena
