    Hello everybody,
I need your help. I need to set up two or more “application emails/URLs” for each new job in WP Job Manager.
When I put two mails with comma as separator, when I click the button in the front end, the candidate button opens the mailer … but the first address looks like this, as domain:
    https://[email protected]
while the second address is correct:
    [email protected]

How can I make the Candidates button open an email with two correct email addresses?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Michele`

    Hi @michelemac ,

In general, WP Job Manager only accepts one email there, so this can’t be done out of the box.

However, I’m not aware of the ‘candidate’ button you’re referring to. Can you link to a screenshot? I’m also confused about which notification you’re referring to, since WPJM doesn’t itself send any emails. Are you also using Applications and/or Resumes to manage this?

    Best,
    Cena

    Hi @michelemac ,

I don’t seem to be able to view the screenshot – do you have a link where I could take a look directly?

    Hi @michelemac

    Thanks for sharing the screenshot.

The application email field is only designed to hold one email address. You will notice that using a , on the frontend submission doesn’t work. However, when you add two email addresses (ex: [email protected], [email protected]) on the backend, WP Job Manager tries to parse it as a URL.

You won’t be able to add two email addresses to the field. You may be able to extend WP Job Manager to allow for this, but we aren’t able to assist with this level of customization per our support policy.

You may want to consult a developer if you wish to implement this functionality.?

You are also welcome to make an enhancement request for this as well. You can do so at:

    https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/issues/new?assignees=&labels=%5BType%5D+Enhancement&template=Enhancement.md&title=

Please note that making a request doesn’t guarantee that the feature will be added, but it does get it in front of our development team. We use these requests to guide future development.
