Posts carousel with background image: broken.

    After upgrading from version 2.0.16 to 2.1.0, all the post carousels I had in my wordpress site got broken.
    Those carousels I use are the following type: post image as background. When upgrading to 2.1.0, images get “undocked” from the post box.
    I had to downgrade to 2.0.16 and all started to work as before.
    The site I’m experiencing this issue is jamoneroprofesional.com.

  • Yes, same problem here!

    It looks fine in the preview (although the “read more” button loses it’s on-hover effect. But after saving, it’s still broken – the image displays below the copy instead of behind it.

    There is also an issue with other types of carousel, not only with those using the post image as a background!
    I was having a carousel displaying the post image on the top. After I upgraded to the version 2.1.0 the gap between two posts in the carousel disappeared! In fact I think the gap is still there, but it seems to be filled with the post background color, which is incorrect.

    There is definitely a problem with carousels in this new version 2.1.0
    I hope it can be fixed very soon.
    In the meantime I will stay with the previous version.

    FYI, the new Spectra update 2.1.1 fixed it for me. I mean, the Read More buttons don’t have hover effects, but the image is where it’s supposed to be.
