    Hello there,
First of all, I have to thank you for your life-saving plugin! Please keep up the great work, Congratulations!
I have a quick question for you: Does the backup link have an expiration date? If I save it somewhere and I decide to use it after -let’s say- six months on a new server will it work or somehow it needs the original site to be active?
Thank you in advance for your time.
    Regards

    Hi @aliaslina

URL points directly to the backup which is stored on the website where it was created.

If you disable our plugin on that website, this URL won’t work anymore.
If you remove particular backup or entire site, URL won’t work either.

In order to use Super-Quick Migration via URL:
    1) Both websites requires our plugin to be active
    2) Backup must be stored on domain included in URL
    3) URL should point to downloadable file

If you want to keep particular backups long-term, we highly recommend you to download it directly to your PC and then keep it locally or upload it to free clouds such as Google Cloud or iCloud.

This way you won’t lose the file and it will be accessible even when the website will be removed, then you can simply use upload area to upload to use that backup for restoration.

Also, before you remove backup from server after download, double check if that backup is visible on backup(s) list inside our plugin settings. That list can only display valid and restorable backups, if you can’t find downloaded backup on that list, it means it may be not restorable, in such case you may need to run backup again with adjusted options for particular error (let me know if that’s the case for you).

    Hope it clarifies your question.

Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with ??
    Thank you!
