Reusable blocks content can’t be show on member post

    Hello,

    I use reusable blocks on a custom mega menu and calls to action, among other things.
    On member only posts all reusable blocks do not display and display instead the Paid Memberships Pro “no access” message on megamenu and CTA.

    Is there a conflict between the content function of the reusable blocks and that of the post?

    Do you have an idea where the problem could lie?

    Hello @benoitappaloosam,

    I’m sorry this is not working for you. We use reusable blocks on our site.
    We are unable to recreate this error on any of our test sites.

    Have you tested with a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty to confirm if this is theme related?

    If this still happens with a default theme, we recommend troubleshooting by disabling all plugins and turning them on again one by one starting with PMPro.

    Hello Kim,

    Same problem on a default WordPress theme.
    So I disable all plugins.
    It seems to be the Reusable Blocks Extended plugin causing this problem. But that does not say why Paid Memberships Pro interferes with this plugin that I have used on many sites since it has existed.

    Thanks a lot for your anwser

    No relly a megamenu plugin inside. I used WP Widget in Navigation plugin for that and a Boostrap 5 Megamenu Walker function.

    Hello Kim,

    Did you find the source of the issue ?

    After multiple tests with the Twenty Twenty theme, disable all plugins and having replaced my menu with Getwid’s Megamenu plugin, the problem is still there.

    As soon as the page is read-protected by PM Pro, all the reusable blocks (menu and CTA) are not visible because of the non-members message.

    I think I will have to permanently uninstall Paid Memberships Pro, which I have been using for many years, and redevelop my member area with an extension that does not bug with reusable blocks.

    Hello Benoit,

    I appreciate your patience. This appears to be an issue with how the Reusable Blocks Extended works with the_content.

    Thank you very much for your answer.
    I updated with the gist proposal in this thread and now the megamenu is correct on the read-protected PM Pro post.

    It only remains to solve the problem on the CTA blocks, but it should not be difficult at the development level.
