    Hi @wpeveryday,

    There is a restriction on the connected PayPal merchant account. This must be clarified with the PayPal merchant support as PayPal sometimes requires verification before the account can receive payments.

    I’ve got the same issue. I don’t think there is a restriction on the connected PayPal merchant account.

    I had to switch to a different plugin where everything works as expected.

    The old PayPal Standard gateways also work fine.

    We haven’t head back, and the restriction on the merchant account appears to have been clarified by now. So I’ll mark this thread resolved. Feel free to reopen or create a new thread if any questions remain.

    @kick3rzzz, you may have seen the same Something went wrong. frontend error when clicking the PayPal button. But this error can be caused by countless potential factors, and the odds are that you are not facing the same problem that leads to this error.

    If you want to better understand why there would be an error on your site, I suggest creating a new thread for yourself. Thanks!
